Michael Robbins is an ACI Senior Architect with over 35 years of experience in the field of architecture. Michael has worked as a designer and technical architect on a diverse range of building types including historic renovation, adaptive re-use, institutional and most recently residential design. Michael has experience on large complex projects leveraging interdisciplinary design to provide holistic solutions.
Michael provides consulting and monitoring services for the design and construction industry, focusing on the evaluation and prevention of water intrusion through the building enclosure. He advises architects, building owners, and contractors on the integration of critical waterproofing and flashing components.
Mr. Robbins has been a California licensed architect since 1999 and a LEED Accredited Professional since 2007. Michael holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a LEED Accredited professional. His professional memberships include American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). Community engagement includes Berkeley Design Advocates, AIASF Board of Directors 2019-2020, Former Chair of Small Firms and Public Policy and Advocacy committees.
