Field Testing
Aquatech is an AAMA Accredited Field Test Agency. Aquatech is accredited for the following test methods and specifications:
- ASTM E 1105
- ASTM E 783
- AAMA 501.2
- AAMA 502
- AAMA 503
Aquatech ensures testing conforms to your needs. In addition to the above, we test assemblies according to:
- ASTM C 1193
- ASTM E 1827
- ASTM E 2128 E
- AAMA 511
Each project comes with its own challenges. Testing windows and storefronts is no different. We can test from scaffolding, scissor lifts, roofs & skylights, light wells, and angled glazing. We have tested windows larger than 100 square feet and can construct spray equipment to test larger assemblies.
We provide air testing for windows and whole-building assemblies. We perform water testing for any building envelope assembly, including deck-to-wall, exterior balconies and patios, roofing, and below-grade systems.
Testing isn’t limited to new assemblies. We can test and troubleshoot existing assemblies to determine possible locations of water intrusion.
