We all recognize a 45-degree (45°) angle, which is a common diagonal, miter, triangle, or pyramid. But what does one make of a 12 pitch, a 1:1 slope, a vertical slope, or a 100% grade? These are all the same angle, as described in the vernacular of different trades.
